A self-loathing dancer and a fanatical Gaeilgeoir seek to connect in a language lesson that swerves from slapstick to acrimony to personal revelation. Broken Croí/Heart Briste is a comedic and heartfelt look at fractured relationships, using a blend of Irish and English to reveal the warped truth behind our passions.

Is it Irish? Can language be a weapon? Who the feic knows?

Broken Croí/Heart Briste
was nominated for the Fishamble New Writing Award, the Bewley's Cafe Theatre award and two Irish Times Theatre Awards.

"Broken Croí/Heart Briste is much more than just a play about the Irish language. It utilises the dexterity of the language to bring the story to life." Oh, Fringe!

Nominated for two Irish Times Theatre awards and winner of the Stewart Parker best Irish Language Drama Award.

Performed in English and Irish as part of Seachtain na Gaeilge.

Supported by Project Arts Centre and Foras Na Gaeilge.
