New dances for not-so-new people.
Macushla Dance Club for the over 50s has invited three radically different choreographers to create new works for a company of professional and older dancers. The choreographers’ works share a commitment to the person behind the dance, responding to the challenge of opening up their creative process to the talents, passions and experiences of older people.
Sweet Spot - A film about being in your element, the challenges of getting there, the joy of being there and the pleasure in sharing it with others.
Tipping Point - Slipping, sliding and tripping from one unstable balance to another, everyone has a tipping point.
The Show – Showy dancing, jazz hands and there might even be some singing. It’ll be pretty casual (but we may wear top hats).

SeatingOur seating is unreserved so you will choose your seat on the night of the performance. We advise you to arrive at least 10 minutes before the start time as we are unable to seat patrons once a performance has begun.
