Your voice, your view, your words… My_Project!


My_Project is an exciting opportunity for people who love the arts and love to speak their mind. We are looking for one dedicated arts enthusiast to write and keep a blog for Project Arts Centre for the upcoming programme season (Mid Jan - March 2012). You will get the opportunity to:
  • watch, review and critique all the shows at Project Arts Centre for three months, to interview and chat with the artists
  • access all areas and gain exclusive access to backstage and opening nights
  • record and capture this unique experience in photograph with a fancy blogger camera
  • express your own view on whats going on at Project Arts Centre
The most important thing is that it is your voice, your view, your words… make it your own!

My_Project  Benefits:

  1. Two free tickets to every show at Project Arts Centre from Mid-Jan to end of March 2012.
  2. Access all areas: gain exclusive access to backstage and opening nights.
  3. Be a part of it: meet with and interview artists and performers.
  4. You get to use a fancy ‘blogger’ camera so you can record interviews / take photos / post your blog updates for the duration of your My_Project season. This will allow you to update your blog at Project Arts Centre or from home!
  5. Speak your mind: write, review, critique and capture your views on all that's happening at Project Arts Centre.

All you need to do to apply is send the following to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it (with 'My_Project Competition' in the email header):

1)    Write a review (max. 500 words) of a recent show that you have been at (visual arts / theatre / music / performance / comedy). This can be interesting, fun, critical, whatever you want to write is entirely up to you, so long as it’s your own opinion, your voice… make it your own.

2)    Tell us about yourself and why you would like to have your own My_Project blog, please include a picture of yourself and a contact telephone number.

Applicants will be shortlisted and the winner will be selected in a public vote in early January.
