PROJECT CATALYSTS ARE WORKING HARD

HATCH Theatre Company start work on a new piece in development and rehearsals for Fringe 2010 get under way

PROJECT CATALYSTS ARE WORKING HARD

PROJECT CATALYST Annabelle Comyn (HATCH Theatre Company) is starting work on a 30 minute presentation of The Vortex by Noel Coward. One of Cowards most controversial and darkest plays, The Vortex offers an unflinching exposé on the hedonistic lifestyle of a social élite and its devastating impact on the relationship between a mother and son.

Annabelle is working closely with a small group of actors that includes Aisling O'Sullivan, Marty Rae and Fiona Bell to work on sections of the play over four days to explore its relevance, whether there is a context for this work and the potential for a future production.

The work will be presented to producers and programmes as work in development in early August and fingers crossed it might be coming to stage near you some time soon. Watch this space for updates on Annabelle and HATCH Theatre Company.

Also, THEATREclub and The Company begin rehearsing for news shows to be premiered at this year’s Fringe Festival, Priscilla Robinson continues to develop her project Help Me! Help Me! which will see her design and run her own charity shop also at Fringe, and Brokentalkers get ready to head to the Tampere Festival in Finland with Silverstars.

It’s all go here and we can't wait to see how they all get on.
