Five dance artists collaborate with an award-winning director to perform adaptations of four solo works choreographed by Deborah Hay –Beauty, Room, The Runner, and  I’ll Crane For You.

This is a ground-breaking production, radical in its approach to  dance and theatre-making,and is sure to surprise.

Deborah Hay is well known as a member of the Judson Dance Theatre - a  group of experimental artists deeply influenced by Merce Cunningham and John Cage, who became a defining force of the New York dance scene in the 1960’s. Hay’s work challenges the prevailing canon of modern choreography from who dances to the very notion of what constitutes dance.

A post show discussion will take place after the performance on Friday 5 February.
