A six piece international band of young jazz musicians perform the world premiere performance of original instrumental songs by Irish musician Seán Carpio.

Performing in New York, Britain, Belgium, Casablanca, Macedonia and the UK, 2009 has been a busy year for Seán Carpio. So when he was commissioned by Project Arts Centre to write new music, he naturally chose to do so exclusively from his bedroom in Churchtown, Dublin 14.

Jazz musician and drummer, Seán Carpio was a student and teacher in the Newpark Music Centre and studied Carnatic classical percussion in Bangalore, India. Carpio is a member of the Louis Stewart Quintet, Red Rocket, Togetherness, White Rocket, Métier, Rainbow Rocket and the Myles Drennan Trio.

Seating
Our seating is unreserved so you will choose your seat on the night of the performance. We advise you to arrive at least 10 minutes before the start time as we are unable to seat patrons once a performance has begun.
