LIVE COLLISION | BITE SIZE FESTIVAL

Live Collision | Bite Size Festival is generating some of the most exciting work from both Irish and international artists across and between art forms. Friday's Live Collision Double Bill will feature.....

Holding Nothing by Bruno Humberto
Holding Nothing is a broken circular poem, written in the darkness. This is a sound and theatre performance made of layering of voices/actions inside, around and in the centre of an audience. Happening partly in the dark, this new solo of Bruno Humberto explores nothingness in Western philosophy, Eastern mysticism, Physics and Poetry, all condensed in the absence that lies in between.

A first version of this performance was premiered this year in the residency Physical Centre, at the Guest Projects, ICA, London and Gift (Gateshead International Festival of Theatre).

Spectacular Failures by Maurice Joseph Kelliher
A performative lecture (series of B-sides )

Maurice recently created Criminal Queers - a dance / theatre performance under the influence of anti-heroines, broken heroes, and notorious outsiders. It was a storming success - gaining a 4 star review from Irish Theatre Magazine, and a nomination for ABSOLUT Fringe’s Spirit of the Fringe Award 2011.

Live Collision has invited Maurice to go back under the influence and revisit the research material and approaches used in making the show, while at the same time linking with artistic ambitions and intriguing propositions around future projects.
